Let The Bronze Bring Out The Best In You!

Bronzer, the product to help you glow

The product that can help create a gorgeous sun-kissed glow

We all now know that the damage to our skin from the sun far outweighs the desirable bronzed tan that so many of us adore. But with this ‘magic’ product you can ensure a radiant and healthy look without having to expose your skin to those harmful rays.

What are the options?

There are a few different types and although generally for the neck and face, bronzers come in gels, creams, powders and liquids with some specifically designed to be used all over the body.

I tend to use a powder or cream bronzer.  Powders are great to use especially if you have oily skin and are probably the most popular type as they give you the most natural finish.  You can choose between a matte or shimmery finish.

Cream bronzers can help create a dewy finish and I sometimes use mine to contour my nose or cheeks.  A cream version can help create a youthful and fresh look.  They are easy to use but tend not to last as long as a powder version.

A gel-type bronzer is typically a sheer lightweight gel that has a hint of colour for an instant sun-kissed glow.  You can wear alone or add into your foundation.  Many different shades are available.

I don’t really use liquid bronzers but that’s something I’d like to change.  They are concentrated with iridescent ingredients that can be blended into your foundation.  You can also use them instead of a foundation which is super convenient if you don’t have much time and in need of an instant glow.

My favourite bronzers are:

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronzer and Highlighter £49

This is my must-have product and I absolutely love it! It comes with a beautiful highlighter too.  It contours your face and creates a luminous glow.

Fenty Beauty Cheeks out Cream Bronzer £28

A great cream bronzer from Rhianna’s makeup range.  This product seems to be lasting forever!

Mac Bronzing Powder £24

This makeup brand always delivers.  Their bronzer provides a sheer and natural colour. That’s all I need!
