Rediscover the slip dress!
The Slip dress is a silhouette that defined the 90’s and I’m old enough to say I remember it well! I so loved the fashion, music and party scene. I rocked the Slip dress back in the day and recently snapped a couple up from Zara.
This style of dress would definitely feature in my category of a “throw-it-on-dress” as it’s easy to wear, super flattering and requires no effort to look fabulous. I don’t usually go braless but with a slip I wouldn’t hesitate.
I always recommend a selection of dresses for any wardrobe. They offer a complete outfit in minimal time and the Slip is no different. It comes in a range of different lengths, colours, prints and patterns. The high street has nailed this dress!
You can style formally by adding a blazer, stunning heels and accessories to match. Dress down in pumps or flats for a day out with the kids. Or wear with thick tights, chunky boots and oversized coat for a winter catwalk model look. Totally versatile this piece will carry you through to early autumn.
