My 3 Amazing Makeup Buys You Need To Know About!

Nars Orgasm Blush

On my recent trip to Sweden, I picked up a mini-size Nars Orgasm blush at the Duty-Free store for £14. Although I’ve known for years that this particular blush is a cult favourite, I have never tried it.

When I find a product I love, I tend to stick with it. My go-to pink blush for years has been Peony Pink by Trish McEvoy, which I would 100% recommend.

Seeing the mini-size option piqued my interest as I might not have bought it had the standard size only been available. Nars’s best-selling blush is a peachy pink with a shimmering gold finish fitting for a goddess!

It’s buildable, which is excellent for those who like to rock bold looks, as I sometimes do. It also provides a beautiful, naturally blushed effect for a subtle look.

I love this product and have no idea why it’s taken me so long to try it, and I reckon this mini-size is going to last for a good couple of months.

For those who haven’t tried this, it’s a definite must-try when you need to replenish your makeup.

You still make me BLUSH.

Rare Beauty Happy Liquid Blush

I love powder blushes, but I love a liquid one too, and I have been desperate to get my hands on this particular one from makeup brand Rare Beauty.

When I have time, I watch my favourite makeup artists on Youtube and notice that they are using this blush a lot. It seems to have become a firm favourite for their tutorials, making me want to get my hands on it.

And I have waited months as there aren’t many UK stockists except Space NK selling this brand. So finally, they restocked, and I snapped one up immediately. It didn’t disappoint.

I must say you only need a small amount as the first couple of applications I applied way too much, and it didn’t look great. Once you get the right amount, it looks gorgeous and makes you look super healthy.

This liquid blush is buildable and formulated with long-lasting colour pigments to provide all-day wear and I can vouch that it does last all day!

For £19, you get 7.5 ml which should last me more than six months. Give this a go if you like wearing a liquid blush. I will try their colour Bliss next as I’m super impressed.

I like wearing blush to highlight my incredible cheekbones.

Mac Stack Mascara

Some years ago a professional makeup artist advised me not to spend much on mascara as the cheaper ones can be as good as those deemed high-end. I have followed that advice but lately the impact seems to be less than it previosuly did.

I felt my lashes weren’t looking longer or thicker after application and thought it was time to make a change!

Having seen Mac stack mascara go viral on TikTok I knew this was the one to try, and I can see why this has gained lots of attention. After applying a few generous coats my lashes were three times longer and thicker. Woohoo! This is precisely how I want my lashes to look. Its weightless whipped formula is buildable and clump-resistant to give you that amplified volume we want. My search for a near-perfect mascara has been achieved thanks to one of my fave makeup brands Mac.

When buying a product for the first time, I always hope it’s not a waste of money, and thankfully this purchase wasn’t.

I 100% recommend this mascara and if you’re still unsure, they offer a mini-size option which is fantastic if you’re nervous about using a product for the first time.

Goddess lashes, here I come!

Life is short your lashes shouldn’t be.
